Santalia Summer Club — Santalia Summer Club
Context
Santalia Summer Club, one of the leading nightclubs in Extremadura (Spain), ran its entire operation on scattered tools: VIP bookings written by hand, guest lists on paper or spreadsheets, third-party ticketing that took a cut of every entry, and a website that reflected neither the scale nor the image of the venue. Information lived in separate places and nothing talked to each other, causing errors at the door, mismatches in VIP table payments, and hours of manual work every night.
The challenge wasn't to build a website, but to design the complete digital system to support the operation of a club handling a high volume of events, staff and customers, bringing the public-facing side and the internal tools together under one identity.
Result A custom-built, in-house digital ecosystem that centralises VIP bookings, door access control, event galleries and web presence, cutting out third-party commissions and drastically reducing manual management work every night.

- My role
- I designed and developed the entire ecosystem end to end. I built several custom WordPress plugins from scratch: a VIP table manager with three roles (admin, hostess and waiter) handling tables, payments, supplements and orders in real time; a guest list and door access control system; and an event gallery with a photo curation workflow. I owned the data architecture, business logic, frontend and user experience, as well as the visual design aligned with the brand. I worked directly with the client, iterating on real use cases during live event nights.
